Norman Nato has once more outclassed his Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS rivals. In Spa-Francorchamps, this weekend hosting the fourth double round of Fast Lane Promotion single seater promoted series, the young Frenchman and current championship leader, driving for RC Motorsport, seized his third consecutive pole after Pau and Imola.

An hardly fought qualifying session, at the end of which it was the other driver from France Paul-Loup Chatin (Tech1 Racing) to score second fastest two tenths away from pole, and just 0.005 ahead of his team mate Oscar Tunjo.

Fourth fastest Russian Koiranen Motorsport Daniil Kvyat, undisputed leader of the two free practice sessions held in the morning. Behind him respectively the Brazilian Guilherme Silva, the German Stefan Wackerbauer, the Finn Patrick Kujala, the other Brazilian Felipe Fraga (at his debut on the fast and challenging Belgian track) and the Russian Roman Mavlanov, with the 15 y/o Esteban Ocon for the top-10. Just behind him the Italian Simone Iaquinta him too at his debut on the up and down hill of Spa. Two places behind him William Vermont, on whose car the engine was replaced after the second free practice session.

To be pointed out a red flag too to allow the marshals to remove Mexican Michael Dörrbecker car (Team Torino Motorsport), stuck at the Stavelot for a failure in the rear left suspension likely the outcome of a kerb approached too aggressively.

Tomorrow Race 1 start (25 minutes plus a lap) is scheduled at 17.15. Race 2 will kick off instead sunday morning at 10.55.
