Out Of Brazil - Renault 2.0 ALPS: Kvyat, Nato and Mckee shine in the three free practice sessions that opened in Monza the 2012 season

Full lineup for Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, starting this weekend in Monza with more than 30 cars. An excellent “entry-list” that will lead to an amazing year since its very beginning. Seven double venues for the 2012 calendar with three in Italy (with rounds in Imola and Mugello) and the remaining in France, on the city track of Pau, Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps), Austria (Zeltweg) and Spain (Barcellona).

Engine turned on since this morning in Monza for the three free practice venues. Best overall, in the first session, was the Russian Daniil Kvyat. The Koiranen Motorsport driver with the official Red Bull colors, has stopped the clock at 1’49”475. Behind him the English Melville McKee (Interwetten.com), in the afternoon the fastest on track with his 1’49”886, and the debuting Italian Simone Iaquinta, with the Team Torino Motorsport car.

Fastest in the second session it was instead Norman Nato, racing for RC Formula and capable of 1’50”295. On that occasion behind him there were two other drivers form France: Paul-Loup Chatin (Tech1 Racing) and William Vermont (Arta Engineering), respectively with a 79 hundreds and a tenth gap.

Closed to those upfront also the Colombian Oscar Tunjo (Tech1 Racing) and the Brazilian Victor Franzoni, with another Koiranen Motorsport car. All attention is now on tomorrow when the first results that count will arrive, with qualify scheduled between 10.20 and 10.50.

Two are the races instead (each on the 25 minutes plus a lap format). The first one to start tomorrow at 15.20 and the second one on Sunday at 14.45.
